Statement of Faith
We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Old and New Testaments. We hold to the 66 books of the canon of Scripture to be the only reliable and inspired books of the Bible. We use and study the King James Bible in English.
2 Timothy 3:16
We believe in God in three Persons or the Trinity; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each being God and all being one.
1 John 5:7
We believe in the New Birth in Christ alone.
John 3:3-7
We believe in Baptism by immersion for believers only.
Acts 8:36,37; 2:41
We believe in the eternal security of the believer.
John 3:16; Ephesians 1:3; Philippians 1:6
We believe in two ordinances for the local church: The Lord's Supper and Baptism. The local church was given the Lord's Supper as a memorial for Christ's substitutionary death on the cross. Baptism as a symbol of death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
1 Corinthians 11:23-31; Romans 6:3,4
We believe in the literal creation account of Genesis. We believe the days of creation to be 6 days of 24 hours each.
Genesis 1 & 2
We believe in the bodily death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His bodily ascension and present ministry of intercession for the believers.
John 19:31-37; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 7:25
We believe in the imminent pre-tribulation, pre-millennial return of the Lord to gather the saved, dead and alive, to Him.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
We believe in a literal 1,000-year reign on earth by Jesus.
Revelation 19 & 20
We believe in a literal Heaven for believers and a literal eternal lake of fire for the lost.
Revelation 4 & 5; Luke 16:19-31
We believe in "whosoever will" salvation available to all who will repent and believe the Gospel.
John 3:16
We believe that the local church is God's institution on earth to carry out the Great Commission.
Matthew 28:18-20
We believe that each believer should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord and thus be a constant winess to the lost of the grace and mercy of God. Seperation from all religions, apostsy, contemporary "Christian" music, and sinful pleasures, practices, and associations is commanded of God.
Romans 12:1-2; 14:13; 1 Corinthians 6:14; 7:1; II Timothy 3:1-5; 1 John 2:15-17; II John 9,
We believe any ecumenical movement or mass evangelism effort which attempts to unite believers with unbelievers is not of God. The philosophy of neo-evangelism is unscriptual and therefore we seperate ourselves who practice this error.
